Lecturer in Church History

Michael Gladwin is Lecturer in History for the School of Theology, Charles Sturt University. Michael's research interests include the history of Christianity and its interaction with empires ranging from the Roman to the British; the interaction of Christian theology with 18th –20th century European thought and culture; and the place of Christianity in Australian history, literature and popular culture. Michael's teaching is in the areas of early church history, Reformation history, Christianity in Australian history, modern Christianity in a global context, and advanced historical research methods.
